Also nice for hiking and cycling in autumn. unfortunately closed on weekdays in C times. Otherwise the location is always a good destination for food and drink. Really great in winter when there is snow.

Unfortunately, I don't understand all of these bad reviews ... A beautiful piece of earth with a clean and cozy beer garden, also very suitable for children. The food was very, very good and inexpensive, as well as varied and something for everyone. Even if there is more going on, it is definitely worth waiting. Hosts and team very professional and polite. The new Corona regulation was also implemented very well. Always worth a rest after an excursion, because here guests are still valued and their well-being is well taken care of.

Have been coming here for many years and all year round. The physical well-being is well catered for here ... very good and varied menu of food and drinks. The Waldschenke Rosenstein, with a large beer garden, is in a very idyllic location. A playground ensures that children can have fun here too. In the cold season it is also very cozy inside. A beautiful piece of earth with very nice hosts ... keep it up! 👍👍

Today we went to the castle ruins again. Unfortunately the beautiful forest tavern was closed. We were all the more astonished by the brutal answer below, which talks about the week-long closure. I can not understand the bad reviews. Yes, the prices are slightly higher than in a beer garden, but you get decent quality on the plate. I prefer to pay € 1 more for the delicious Flamkuchen than for the TK-Convinience-Board in the beer garden Welzheim. The new toilets are in a very impeccable condition. One has to keep in mind that electricity has to be generated with a generator. Unfortunately, some contemporaries forget that the fantastic location makes farming difficult. Update 13.10.2019: Even in the late afternoon on a Sunday with best weather (26 °) including high numbers of visitors the toilets were in a perfect condition and the service at the bar was friendly.

Nice little hut with a large beer garden and a small room and an adventure playground in a fantastic area. The food was consistently good, a little salty perhaps and the salad still lacks a dash of potato salad to perfection. The cakes were good too. Portion sizes were fine for me, so I could eat two things and a cake. They value regional products. Will gladly come again.
